JV & Eddie Scores League Victory

at Xtreme Indoor Karting:

Close-fought action in both weight classes heats up in South Florida’s

top Indoor Facility 

 

The first round of the Xtreme Junior League took place March 19^th 2008 with a great group of drivers hitting the track in their chase for the series championship. After a night of heated competition that included a 5-lap qualifying and a 30-lap main event, we had JV win 1^st in the heavy weight class and Eddie won 1^st place in the light weight class.

 

Qualifying was extremely tight in the light weight series as Eddie scored the fasted time of a 26.79 to edge Charls for the inside of the front row for the main event. Charls put down good laps during the qualifying attempt, but came up just a little short. Zamby sat in third after the qualifying run to win the inside of row two for the final race, while Morphius and Monroy completed in the fastest five for the light weights. Qualifying in the heavy weight class JV had a fast lap of 26.91 to edge Whiplash for the inside of the front row of the main events. Deadpool sat in 3^rd after the qualifying run to win the inside row for the final race, while 8Speed and The Devil completed in the fastest five in the heavy weight series.

 

In the Heat A of the light weight race, Eddie started in first and held his position the entire race to take the victory ahead of Charls. Morphius ended in 3^rd place ahead of Illusion and Silva which scored 4^th and 5^th place. Overall the race was smooth with only one black flag given to Ralph for bumping. Morphius set the lap record with a 26.44.

 

In the Heat A of heavy weight race, JV started in first and held his position the entire race to take the victory. Whiplash, Deadpool, The Devil, and 8Speed held there position the entire race ending in the same order they started. There were three black flags were given during Heat B of the heavy weight series. One was given to Sach for passing during yellows. Tommywheels and

F-G-K were black flagged for bumping. JV set the fast lap of 26.68 in Heat A and Zoli007 set it for Heat B.
