The

of the
Xtreme
Junior

place March

2008 with a
great group
of drivers
hitting the
track in
their chase
for the
series
championship.
After a
night of
heated
competition
that
included a
5-lap
qualifying
and a 25-lap
main event,
Smoke came
out on top
of the heat
to score the
overall
victory
after
holding off
Racer X for
the duration
of the
event.
Qualifying
was
extremely
tight as
Racer X
poster the
fasted time
of a 27.09
to edge
Speed Racer
for the
inside of
the front
row for the
main event.
Speed Racer
put down
good laps
during the
qualifying
attempt, but
came up just
a little
short. Smoke
sat in third
after the
qualifying
run to win
the inside
of row two
for the
final race,
while AOM
Racing and
Andrew
completed in
the fasted
five.
In
the race,
Smoke due to
the invert
in Heat A
started in
third and
worked his
way up to
first with
clean
error-free
laps to take
the overall
victory
ahead of
Racer X. AOM
Racing,
which
progressed
from Heat B
to Heat A.
AOM Racing
and Andrew
made up the
top-five in
the final
results.
Smoke set
the fast lap
record in
Heat A and
CJ set the
fast lap
record in
Heat B. CJ
was black
flagged
because he
took Daniel
out in Heat
B but still
worked his
way up to 2nd
in Heat B.
