Under 16 and want to race?
That is okay!  As long as you are 8 years or older and at least 54” or taller, you can race.  If you are under 16 and meet those requirements, you can come in and take a race evaluation.  If you pass the race evaluation, you can get your race license and race during normal hours of operation.

What is a Race Evaluation?
A race evaluation allows our track marshals to explain the rules of the road, provide a safety briefing and make sure that you can follow the basic rules and keep up with the time requirements.  This evaluation consists of a 5 minute race where you are against the clock.  You must complete a lap in under 1 minute if you are racing the cadet karts (54”or taller) and under 34 seconds in you are racing the adult karts (62” or taller) to qualify for your race license.

 

How much does it cost?

$26.50 (Includes Race License if you Qualify and Head Sock)

 
What if I don’t pass?

If you don’t pass the race evaluation, you can sign up for our race school where you will have more time to practice. The race school is $45.00. However, if you didn’t pass the race evaluation, we will subtract the $26.50 fee from the race evaluation.

               
Why should I go to Race School?

Race school is great for those under 16 with little racing experience.  You get more racing time and more personal time than you would doing a race evaluation.  Race school is only on specific days/times of the week which you can find on our home page by clicking on the Race School button above the calendar. 
(Must pre-register and prepay in advance to attend race school).
